Science OlympiadOver the years, the Science Olympiad has grown throughout the state of North Carolina. In order for travel to be most convenient for as many schools as possible we have divided the 100 counties in North Carolina across Regional Sites. Each of these Regions has its own Director(s), and each Region holds a separate tournament. If you have questions pertaining to a particular Region or its Regional Tournament please contact the Regional Director(s) directly. Their e-mail addresses can be found by clicking your specific Regional Tournament link below. Also, information for each specific tournament is posted on these pages and it is critical that coaches and students check these pages periodically for announcements, clarifications, and updates.Schools who perform particularly well and place among the top in their Regional Tournament will be invited to compete in the State Tournament held at North Carolina State University. The top two ranking Division B - Middle Schools and the top two ranking Division C - High Schools at the State Tournament will be invited to compete at the National Tournament.
